Make sure you’ve packed and prepared your items in advance. Then pop into your nearest Post Office branch
Yes, if you’re sending goods or gifts anywhere outside the UK, except if you’re sending from Northern Ireland to the EU. You can fill in a customs form online or pick one up in branch. Find your local branch using branch finder.
As well as written customs form, we also need to provide the customs information electronically to comply with international posting regulations. So we’ll input these details at the counter when you’re buying your postage.
There are some goods that can’t be sent in the post, and others that can be sent but with clear restrictions.
Some countries have their own rules on what they will and won’t allow to be sent by post. It's important to check the item you’re sending is allowed in the destination country so that we’ll pay compensation in the event of loss or damage.
